Hostage-taking of civilians is a war crime.
What we’re witnessing in the Middle East right now are multiple war crimes.
Some of us condemn war crimes there, regardless of whether the perpetrators are Israeli or Palestinian.
Some only condemn war crimes by Palestinians.

It is not helpful to use the term "terrorism" in a war when the White House only ever applies it to one side. Better to remind both Hamas and the Israeli government that humanitarian law makes it a war crime to target or indiscriminately fire on civilians. whitehouse.gov/briefing-room…
