Today we honor and say goodbye to Marc Thorpe, the creator of robot fighting sports. Without this remarkable human being, creative genius, and pioneer, there would be no BattleBots, Robot Wars, RoboGames, NHRL, Robot Ruckus, Extreme Robots and so on and so on. Marc touched all our lives and fought the good fight so we could all pursue this amazing sport. This community starts with him, and during its darkest moments he held the torch. We are eternally grateful to you Marc, and we’ll see you on the other side. Love to you and to your spirit that will live on forever.
