Scotland as Britain: A medieval thread Nationalists pretend Britain is an extension of England Between the 1380s and 1520s, Scottish historians didn’t treat Britain as synonymous with England. They saw Scotland as Britain’s rightful heir, central, enduring, and legitimate. 1/

First world cup in 28 years and all this one can think about is what anthem England fans will be singing. Cringe
QUESTION… What English anthem will be sung when the England national football team play in this World Cup? Will they have their OWN anthem like every other team.. or will they make a statement to say that England is Britain by singing a British anthem?

SNP and Greens operate as a coordinated pro‑independence bloc. The Greens deliberately avoid standing in constituencies, maximising list where it converts into seats far more efficiently. The result is a separatist vote that produces more seats per vote than any other Part 1/2

I try not to judge people on their political views but SNP voters have had enough chances. If you vote SNP, you’re scum as far as I’m concerned.

For this treachery to Scotland, the Lordship was eventually stripped, ripping the heart out of autonomous Gaeldom and led to generation hatred on both sides. Scottish nationalists deliberately overlook these events but they are a major reason for the decline of Gaelic.

Carstares was the man behind The Act for Security. Persuading the Gov to guarantee the Presbyterian Church forever. Once passed, he used it to silence the radical clergy & quell the mobs. That's why they stopped in Nov 1706 months before the Union in may 1707.

Without Carstares, the Church would have likely blocked the treaty. Without Carstairs there might have never been a UK.
