My first article in a while, and the story is simple: Who is the captain of Nigeria’s economy? I explain why we shouldn’t leave the role to Emefiele and Buhari. Somebody wake our finance minister up because Nigeria is sinking. @StearsBusiness stearsng.com/premium/article…

Super proud moment for me re talent at Stears. Paraphrased a bit but @StartArchiving recently found that according to LinkedIn data: "4% of the people in the top 100 students [based on 2009 Nigerian WAEC results] have spent some time at KPMG, 3% at Stears, and 2% at GTBank"

The data has always been misleading like that. Money can easily enter a bank HQ in Lagos and flow to any state. NBS data won’t capture that.
NBS data showed 34 states in 🇳🇬 could not attract foreign capital in the first quarter, Lagos, Ekiti and the FCT were the only ones that did. There is obviously a big 🔥 on the mountain

This was disclosed in a series of tweets and photos shared on the official X handle of the University of Lagos on Wednesday. "Our Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Folasade Ogunsola kicks it off on a note of gratitude. She thanks the donor, #femigbaja, for his visionary leadership and large-heartedness." The statement further added that while giving his remarks, Gbajabiamila thanked the immediate past VC, Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe for suggesting the hostel as a project idea, and appreciated the current VC, Prof. Ogunsola, for her continuity.
