As Prime Minister, I am sure you are aware of the full details. So if this was purely antisemitism in Golders Green, then explain why the suspect allegedly tried to attack a Muslim man first.
Because your Substack reads like more of the same selective messaging.
Protect the Jewish community, yes, absolutely. But what about every other community also living in fear?
The message you are giving sounds like some communities matter more than others, and that is dangerous.
A Prime Minister should not be making any community feel like an afterthought.
If one community is failed, we are all failed.
You should be speaking about protecting all communities from hate, violence, and fear. Instead, it feels like you are spinning this as though only one community is scared, when the facts appear to tell a more complicated story.
This is exactly why people say you do not read the room.
Or worse, maybe you do read it, and you are choosing to ignore it.
