Hamaguchi says in the new Square Enix Shanghai Q&A that the goal of the FF7 Remake series is to not just recreate the OG FF7.
Rather, it is a new work meant to combine elements across the entire Compilation of FF7, such as Advent Children, Dirge of Cerberus, Crisis Core, and other spin-offs.
And regarding whether Cissnei will appear in FF7 Revelation...well, he can't exactly talk about it now lol.
However, FF7 Revelation is a work they hope fans can enjoy to see how the characters they like turn out, such as for example Cissnei or even other compilation characters.
He also notes that Cissnei is indeed a super popular character that a lot of media always asks him about lol.

Hey everyone, I’m sharing something close to my heart.
My close friend and mod Tiaeth recently stepped in to save a cat’s life. The cat hadn’t eaten in 3 days and needed emergency surgery - without it, she would have been put to sleep. The owner couldn’t afford the procedure, so my friend paid for it entirely, giving this sweet animal a fighting chance.
But here’s the hard part: he used his last savings to do it.
