Reparations are about so much more than the transfer of cash. We need truth and reconciliation and recognition that there is a debt that can never be repaid. But, the financial aspects need to be part of the conversation, they can't just be parked.

Today a Masters student I was supporting was given "no sanction" for academic misconduct after appealing. This was fair, but he'd struggled to understand and navigate the obscure and often hidden university rules and felt bullied in his hearing. If you need support DM me.
