Mayes earned 1st Team All-Session II honors after showing advanced poise and versatility in Mishawaka. He plays with strong command as a combo guard, able to initiate offense, shift off the ball and score from multiple levels. Mayes showed the maturity to control tempo under pressure, while also bringing defensive edge with quick feet, active hands and consistent ball pressure.

Kirk has the size, scoring profile, and two-way activity that translate well on the wing. He averaged 18.0 PPG, 6.2 REB and finished 38, producing within the flow while consistently affecting the game.
He scores through contact, gets to the rim with control, and has enough perimeter touch to stretch defensive matchups. Defensively, his length shows in the gaps, on the glass, and as a help-side presence.
