For anyone wondering what this means: - Anthropic (and potentially future OpenAI, Google, xAI) models that cost billions to develop will make 0 revenue outside the US - a big double digit percentage of Anthropic (and potentially OpenAI, Google, xAI) workforce can no longer work there, because they are foreigners and are not allowed to use those models So Trump just made frontier model development effectively unprofitable and tremendously slowed down Anthropic (and potentially others in the future) He's handing China the win on a gold platter. *potentially: if the same restrictions are imposed on other frontier labs and models
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

Never been a clearer sign of the K shaped economy, than the split on twitter between Team USA discourse and Fablegate

How can Siri still be so bad? It doesn’t make any sense. The technology is there. They have unlimited money to pay the right people…and yet…it is the single worst technology product. It is humiliating to use

I for one am shocked a .eth can't understand how a city that was 44 for Kamala didn't vote for the Republican candidate California govt is retarded enough, stop looking for how some massive conspiracy is happening. Zero chance they could pull it off
It’s funny bc people keep saying “do you have evidence of election fraud?” when the mail in ballot results are statistically impossible. That’s the fucking evidence of election fraud.

Say what you will about META's AI efforts being shit, but Manus is massively better than Claude at designing landing pages. Both still suck at copywriting though, first pass from either can be rough

Saylor has the opportunity to do the funniest fucking thing here

Imagine having the balls to lose 50 million in LPs money as the NFT Saylor and then post this lmao
All the VC stories … I’m SO bored of hearing founders whine about this. It’s our job as founders to take the constant cuts and just keep going. There’s zero, absolutely zero, value to you sharing these stories publicly. Of course there are VCs who are selfish and flawed. What did everyone expect? These are not transactions among friends. There is one reason and one reason only for taking a meeting with you or writing you a check: Multiply their LP’s investment. That’s it. Everyone’s expectations are just way too high. Get the money and then get back to work.

Non-zero chance that Hunter's account was sold to same people running AB84's Kanyes etc, and it's not that close to zero
Is Hunter Biden being bullish crypto, the bottom signal we didn’t know we needed?

Some real bear cases for STRC leverage risk, ATM dependency, convert maturities but this is just lazy and retarded Oh no they only have $871 million in reserve. Except they're sitting on $65 billion in BTC Definitely think Saylor can blow up, but it ain't LUNA
In 2022 Luna was offering 20% yields on $14b They collapsed with about 40 days of runway left in May 2022 This post was made when they had about $400m in reserves left $STRC is offering 11.5% on $15.5b They have about 6 months of runway left MSTR currently has about $871m in reserves left History doesn't repeat, but it sure as hell rhymes

There are 18 year olds taking out $170,000 debt to get a business degree from Ohio State and all of the adults involved should be shot from a cannon into the sun.
Replying to @memeticsisyphus
For out of state tuition it’s $168,000.

I don't short typically, but Draftkings already felt vulnerable because DFS is down and competition in sportsbook side is brutal, this exchange with Bob comes off as so desperate and retarded by one of the DK co-founders.
You’ve got to admire the courage. Most goblins quietly extract in the background, count their millions, and pray nobody notices the bodies piling up behind the business model. But you seem to relish the spotlight, dressing naked self-interest up as some noble public service. Co-found a company that spent billions marketing gambling to young Americans, barely clear $3.7 million in profit on over $6 billion of revenue, cash out hundreds of millions along the way, keep selling stock through planned 10b5-1 plans… And then bravely warn everyone about prediction markets. Very inspiring. investing.com/news/insider-t… Can’t wait to see who they cast to play you when HBO finally makes their Draftkings version of the Sackler story.

The amount of Ecom poseurs just spamming AI slop nonstop on here is incredible
The most profitable ecom demographic in 2026 and nobody will target them because it requires putting your ego aside: >Pet supplements. $120 AOV. 68% female buyers 35-55. They spend more on their dog's gut health than their own. Subscribe-and-save rate 40% because the dog literally cannot skip a month without guilt. The dog needs it. The guilt is the retention mechanism. Not the product >Menopause wellness. $40-65/month subscriptions. Women 45-60. This demographic doesn't cancel because they grew up committing to things. Churn under 15%. The guilt of stopping something that "might be helping" keeps them subscribed 8-12 monthsJoint pain. >Men 55-70. $60-80 AOV. Need-based. The pain is happening right now tonight. There's no "I'll think about it." They pay whatever the first credible page asks The creative that works for all three: calm. Authoritative. No zoomer energy. A real voice giving real information on Facebook and YouTube. They're begging for someone to take them seriouslyCPMs to reach them: half of what you pay for 18-34. Return rates: half of Gen Z. AOV: 2-3x higher. Competition: zeroBut you won't target them because selling joint supplements to a 62 year old man doesn't get followers on ecom Twitter.
