Right now it looks like @TexasTechFB will have a 5 star gambling quarterback playing for a team that will have no opponents in 2026… #wewillsee

Amazing how a tiny pebble in one’s shoe can significantly affect the enjoyment of a Saturday morning run… #ThatWillPreachToo

WOW. Renee Good's father quoted Scripture on CNN. He manages to LOVINGLY says that "the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience" & that if she "had been walking with the Spirit of God" he doesn't think she would have been there. But he says it so gently. God bless him!
Last night on CNN, Rebecca Good's father appeared for his first interview to discuss Renee's death. The host repeatedly probed for answers that would condemn President Trump, but his answer even took the host back. "I don't blame ICE, I don't blame Rebecca, I don't blame Renee. I just, you know, I just wish that, you know, if- if we're walking the spirit of God, I don't think she would have been there. That's- that's the way I look at it."
Community note
Renee Good's former father-in-law, Timmy Macklin, not Rebecca Good's father, is the person interviewed here with CNN's Erin Burnett. cnn.com/2026/01/13/us/…

My whole life I understood @IUHoosiers as a basketball only school. Boy has that narrative changed.

In 1965, CBS executives were terrified of A Charlie Brown Christmas special. They told creator Charles Schulz that having Linus read from the Gospel of Luke was "too religious" for television and would offend the audience. Schulz, a devout Christian, refused to back down. He told them: "If we don't tell the true meaning of Christmas, who will?" It aired, unedited. It became the second most-watched show of the year and won an Emmy. Even in the 60s, the world wanted to erase Christ from Christmas. One man's integrity kept Him on the screen for 50 years.

What’s the deal with two bright colored football mouthpieces, but not wearing either? It’s perplexing this dentist. @AggieFootball #CFBPlayoff

Last full class day for my Medicine, Missions & the Gospel this Fall Semester teaching on Spiritual Warfare in Missions. Incredibly blessed to teach at a university that allows and encourages teaching on these eternal topics. #BaylorU

If you need to avoid controversial topics today at the dinner table with extended family, avoid politics. But if you want to find instant consensus, throw out the question, “Should Thanksgiving Day ham best be served hot, warm or cold?” Your welcome. Happy Thanksgiving!

Unfair that @GeorgiaFootball & @AlabamaFTBL still have a chance at the @SECfootball title because they each were protected from having to play against @AggieFootball.

Will wait until this Friday morning for @YouTubeTV to get back fully online with @espn & @ABC before having no choice but to cancel and go elsewhere.
