"Feeling fortunate to work with the talented postdoctoral fellow, Sanjeev Sharma! Excited for his talk on: "Activation and delayed inactivation of ERK and CDK kinases drives a coupled proliferation and differentiation program." #CellSignaling#SystemsBiology#SystemsBio"
Thursday! We've got Sanjeev Sharma from @TeruelLab and Greg Reeves! If you have more questions about their talks, both speakers will be available afterwards for a more in-depth conversation.
Looking forward to the @InSIDE_Seminar today! Updated title for @SavasTay_UChi talk is: "Understanding and modeling signaling dynamics by microfluidic live-cell analysis and single-cell proteomics"
For those who can see this tweet and didn’t reach their 300 tweet max…we have some great speakers on Thursday! Join us for talks from Hannah Katrina Co from the Chen Lab and @SavasTay_UChi!
InSiDE 2023 is starting June 1st! We will kick off the series with Keynote lecture by @TobiasMeyerLab followed by a social on GatherTown. Click the link in our bio to be added to the mailing list for the Zoom link!
Congratulations to Dr. Tobias Meyer (@TobiasMeyerLab) on being been elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences (@americanacad).
Join us in applauding Dr. Meyer on this tremendous achievement.

A particular protein that allows DNA replication to begin on a DNA site also keeps the replication process in check, according to new findings from a team led by Dr. Tobias Meyer (@TobiasMeyerLab) and doctorate student @NalinRatnayeke.

Really enjoyed presenting and participating in the Samsung Advanced Bio-imaging Research Symposium in Seoul and hearing so much exciting science. Thanks to Wondo Heo, co-organizers, and Samsung for putting together an outstanding program!
Excited to share our new paper out in @NatureComms, led by our postdoc Debasish Paul. We developed a biosensor for the ubiquitin ligase beta-TrCP to study its activity in live, single cells. 1/3

(2/3) Using live single-cell microscopy, we show that fat cells do not differentiate randomly. Differentiation is gated by the circadian clock to occur almost exclusively during the circadian clock phase corresponding to evening in humans.
(3/3) We answer the fundamental question how a perpetual daily clock can regulate a multi-day process such as cell differentiation. A big thank you to @TeruelLab and discussions with @TobiasMeyerLab! @zhang_zhibo@sinha_joydeb@ZiziCherries
