Appreciate that, bro. I feel the same way in reverse about you. I’ve always seen you as a cool dude, but there are definitely people around you who don’t seem to have the best intentions in mind.
That being said, I don’t really live by the quote, “Tell me who you hang with and I’ll tell you who you are.” I believe we’re all sovereign individuals with different perspectives, different paths, and different roles to play. I think we’re positioned where we are, and around who we’re around, for a reason. Maybe to help. Maybe to grow. Maybe to learn from people who approach the ecosystem completely differently than we do. Time will tell.
But I do think the dilemma, the tension, and even the drama are part of what keeps this place with a pulse. Most people don’t see it that way because most people don’t step outside their circles to cross-pollinate. Most of the market is dead right now, with little to no engagement, and yet XRP keeps showing signs of human activity even while being dry like the rest of the market.
That tells me we must be doing something right as a whole, even when it looks messy from the surface.
At the end of the day, there’s only one real group: the XRP community, with all its ups and downs, agreements and disagreements.
I’m not really a believer in the idea that “drama keeps people away.” I don’t think that’s true. In reality, drama is entertainment, and a lot of people come here for entertainment, energy, and to find their tribes. Drama being on or off has very little to do with whether real people come into the ecosystem or not.
The people who usually avoid it because of “drama” are often the big extractors who don’t like being exposed. The type of people you actually want in an ecosystem don’t decide to come or not come just because there’s conflict. They come because there’s culture, movement, opportunity, and life.
These phases are needed. They expose character. They reveal intentions. They help people see who is who before major moves to the upside. They allow everyone in the community to find the people they align with before the next chapter begins
Much love, dude.
