Today, Sen. Mitch McConnell filed an amendment that would destroy the hemp industry as we know it. We agree that the hemp market falls short of the promise made by the 2018 farm bill, but we can solve this problem without banning all hemp products. Cornbread Hemp will not rest until we get this right.

Where are you allowed to drink hemp beverages in Kentucky? The sales of these beverages by the drink in bars and restaurants have become illegal on June 1, by order of Senate Bill 202, passed by the Kentucky General Assembly during the 2025 legislative session. If it seems too ridiculous to believe, yes.
