Day 4 of 31 In the month of December I am going to drop 31 (1 for each day) personal opinions about the game of baseball. I/O equals Eye wash. We have never taken an organized I/O nor do I plan to ever take one Ground balls and fly balls can be taken during pregame batting practice and if taken seriously these opportunities are the best ways to prepare for a game. If no BP is allowed and your dead set on taking ground balls. Have someone side toss to a coach so he can hit the most realistic "game like" ground balls Keep it random so the players have to play it like a real ground ball in the game. This will allow them to see how the ball is reacting to the surface your playing on. Change my mind!
