This created bad optics and unnecessary risk. Since then, I’ve stopped any wallet movement around the token. I'm 100% aware this could be a project token killer, and I'm owning it. I'm insanely pissed off with myself as our team put so much effort into this. Will keep shipping, and hopefully earn back the trust by building polygraph.so into a key open-source grading framework for AI tools.

A few days ago, we asked @IBM to respond directly to @Goblintownforum rather than to me personally. A response addressed to me created the mistaken impression that I am the partner, when the partnership is with the project itself. While I created the repository, my involvement has been intentionally limited. My primary role has been reviewing and vetting pull requests. Due to other commitments, I am neither the lead developer nor the operator of this project. I hold no token allocation, have never promoted the token, and have consistently made it clear that my focus is on the technology and the ecosystem being built around it, not on speculation. The token was created independently and shared with me as a mechanism to provide royalties for my work. None of this is new. We have been transparent about the partnership, its scope, and what it provides from the beginning. The reality is that contributors such as @AngusDurrie have done an extraordinary amount of the heavy lifting, and I have repeatedly emphasized that this project belongs to the community. It is unfair both to the community and to my existing responsibilities to suggest that I am the project’s developer or driving force. Any recognition I receive should be limited to creating the repository and helping establish the foundation. At the end of the day, the work continues regardless.
