This piece nails something subtle: Star velocity and infrastructure depth are measuring two completely different forces. React’s stars represent architectural standardization. OpenClaw’s stars represent attention concentration. We’re no longer just in the open-source era. We’re in the attention-amplified infrastructure era. AI-native tools are now spreading at consumer-internet speed instead of enterprise speed.

A couple years ago, Will Smith eating spaghetti was the internet's favourite way to clown on AI video, or rather, "AI slop" 😭 Melting faces, noodles defying gravity, HANDS being especially weird... It was genuinely hilarious and honestly fair. The quality was nowhere close to ready. That era is over. Models like Seedance 2.0 and Kling 3.0 are producing scenes with consistent characters, real dialogue, synced audio, and multiple camera angles. The same prompt that was a punchline in 2023 now looks cinematic. 2027 is going to be a real conversation about the first full length AI drama on a platform like Netflix. That's not hype, the trajectory is just pointing there and it's moving fast.

Someone just used Seedance 2.0 to animate a Naruto x Jujutsu Kaisen crossover and it looks like it came straight out of a real episode! 🤯 ByteDance's new AI video model can take anime screenshots and turn them into fully animated fight scenes with consistent characters, smooth movement, and synced audio. No animators. No studio. Just a prompt and a reference image. The anime industry is going to feel this first. The quality gap between AI video and hand-drawn animation is closing faster than anyone expected and studios that don't figure out how to work with these tools are going to be playing catch-up in a big way.

🟪 9 out of 10 sales teams are already using AI agents or will be within two years. That's from the 2026 State of Sales Report and honestly? It tracks. The teams pulling ahead are the ones who figured out how to actually deploy these tools, not just subscribe to them. The gap between the teams who get this and the ones who don't is only going to widen from here.

🦞 OpenClaw 2026.2.25 just dropped and the changelog is MASSIVE... lowkey stealing the shine from Perplexity's Computer drop. Security hardened across every surface. Browser agents, Telegram, Discord, voice calls, multi-account systems. They patched things most people didn't even know needed patching. This is what serious AI agent infrastructure looks like when a team is actually building with intention. The pace of these releases is wild and we're only in February.
OpenClaw 2026.2.25 🦞 💓 Heartbeat DM delivery restored 🤖 Subagent delivery overhaul 🧵 Slack thread session fixes 🛡️ Reaction auth across all channels 🔒 Security hardening More bars than Kendrick's cousin's changelog 🎤github.com/openclaw/openclaw…

Perplexity just launched Computer and the timing is... interesting. 🧐 OpenClaw has been running background agents for a while now, but Perplexity is coming in with a strong emphasis on safety and control. The idea is that their version is more transparent about what it's actually doing on your behalf. Two very different philosophies on how AI agents should operate and we're just getting started with this conversation.
Introducing Perplexity Computer. Computer unifies every current AI capability into one system. It can research, design, code, deploy, and manage any project end-to-end.

If intelligence becomes cheap, institutions become everything. The question isn’t whether AI replaces jobs. The real question is: who designs the systems that distribute power, capital, and agency in an AI-native world? That’s the work.

I spent 100 hours over the past week researching, writing and editing the piece we just put out. It’s a scenario, not a prediction like most of our work. But it was rigorously constructed, dismissing it outright requires the kind of intellectual laziness that tends to get expensive. And we’ve released it for free. Hopefully you enjoy it. citriniresearch.com/p/2028gi…
