I’ve played with him many times, never seen any reason for that. Hope he keeps winning, there’s a big enough stage for everyone. 💪🙌

Over 75 submissions. I am completely overwhelmed — in the best way possible. Reading through every single entry reminded me exactly why Her Edge exists. The stories you shared, the passion, the heart — I wish I could pick every single one of you. I really do. But there are 5 seats, and I will be announcing the winners over the next 24 hours. 🃏 #HerEdge #WSOP #WSOPLadiesEvent #WomenInPoker #ForHerByHer

I like this and a good reminder before I fire my first tourney in Vegas this Summer this afternoon. Lets fuckin go!!!!
People who come to me for coaching are often in shock. They can’t believe that poker, the one thing in the world that they felt like was just for them, can now make them feel completely miserable each day. They used to love it so much. Couldn’t stop thinking about it. Win or lose, they had a blast. How can you start here, then become so miserable? They always want to blame the game and variance and the lifestyle, but in reality the game is exactly the same, they just started to play it differently. In the beginning, you fall in love. Deep emotional connection. But poker has a weird and awful culture in which everyone is trying their best to practice and idealize emotional disconnection through things like “being logical” and “reframing the situation” and “seeing the big picture” and using exercise and healthy eating to reduce or eliminate the pain of losing. All of that kills your emotional connection. Kills the part that got you to fall in love. And so now you don’t feel that passion, and all you’re left with is an activity where you can do your best for several months straight and end up with way less money than you started. I wouldn’t want to sign up for that either. The key to a long and happy life in poker is simple. You already had it once. You just need to get it back. Prioritize finding that sweet emotional connection to the game again that drew you in. It’s still there, I promise. If you’re miserable, it’s just that you buried it by doing all the stupid stuff everyone else is preaching about which creates emotional disconnection inside yourself and everything you associate with. Change this, and everything changes. All of a sudden, you’ll feel like you did at the start. Your best times, and your best performances will happen here.
