From the streets of America to the Negev Desert, they chose a different path, one rooted in purpose, discipline, and a deep connection to the Land of Israel. Many members of the community serve in the Israel Defense Forces, contribute to Israeli society, and actively participate in the life of the nation they call home. Their story challenges stereotypes and reminds us that Israel is one of the most diverse societies in the Middle East.
