Recently our CEO @IsabelleParasra met with Professor Kim Hoque to sign @TheDECuk.
The charter aims to level up disabled peoples’ employment opportunities, increase disabled peoples’ job satisfaction, and reduce disability pay gaps.

Today is #DisabilityPayGap day. It’s the day in 2022 when the average Disabled worker stops getting paid for the rest of the year, compared to the average non-disabled worker.
This means that that Disabled workers will work 54 days without pay this year. 🗓️

Today is Disability Pay Gap day, disabled people effectively work for free for the rest of the year (54 days) and stop being paid today.
👉🏽 Non-disabled workers now earn a sixth more than disabled workers. That's 17.2% or a £3,700 difference.

Today I asked @ClaireCoutinho why the Minister for Disabled People has been demoted to Parliamentary Under-Secretary and called for this decision to be reversed.
Disabled people have been treated as an afterthought for too long by this Government and they deserve so much better.
