I've been thinking a lot about that "racism aside" statement, and I believe it can only be uttered by someone who has made money their god. Nothing else matters at the altar of cheddar.

And of course, puppet that he is, he's gonna do just that.

The story goes beyond South Africa. Truth Social users also circulated unverified claims involving #Kenya and Isaac Sturgeon, a January 6 protester who had fled to Kenya after the Capitol riot. Some posts claimed he was detained in a Kenyan airport in 2025. CCIJ found no credible public record or news account to support that claim.

#Trump’s MAGA world talks a lot about Africa. But a lot of what is being shared is false, misleading, or completely missing context. A new CCIJ investigation on VEZA looked at how misinformation about African countries and people spreads on Truth Social.

The long-term effects of racism are so strong that we should not "racism aside" anyone.

The American media will milk this aesthetic, but still had the guts to harass African players and officials, including denying them visas. After this World Cup, the American fashion industry will steal this idea (especially the luggages). That’s what white people have always done. Steal. They are never original. Everything about white civilization, including their religions, was stolen from Africa. They would steal and repackage to dangerous and non-human friendly versions and export back to Africa. It’s a shame that they have conditioned some Africans to hate their own cultures and heritages, despite being the richest in the world.

You cannot be serious trying to shutdown genuine grievances with talks of "AID". South Africa hasn't even begun to pay off a multi-generational debt to a continent that spent in excess of $120 billion dismantling Apartheid with Nigeria alone contributing an estimated $61 billion towards your liberation effort. Complaining about donating a fraction of that back to the continent is completely tone-deaf when you have a lifelong debt to "Pan-Africanism". Even the World Cup that's triggering these tantrumsz, without African solidarity & international boycotts, an all-white squad would still be playing for South Africa. There is absolutely no moral high ground for you to stand on.

I understand going to this World Cup if it’s comped, or for business opportunities, or as part of the reps of your team. But otherwise Africans really have to stop bending over backwards to give their hard-earned money to people who have made it a point that they do not want them around.
