The charge was given during the monthly conference with strategic senior officers of the Nigeria Police Force held at the Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Peacekeeping Centre, Force Headquarters, Abuja, on Tuesday, 9th June 2026. The conference brought together Deputy Inspectors-General of Police, Assistant Inspectors-General of Police, Commissioners of Police, and other senior officers to review the nation's security situation and assess ongoing policing strategies. Addressing the officers, the Inspector-General of Police noted that the country continues to face security threats ranging from kidnapping, armed robbery, cult-related violence, terrorism, banditry, farmer-herder conflicts, and cyber-enabled crimes. He emphasized the need for stronger leadership, improved coordination, and effective operational responses to ensure the Force remains ahead of emerging criminal threats. The IGP disclosed that since the last conference held in May 2026, the Force has recorded significant operational successes, including the arrest of eight suspected terrorists, fifty-five kidnapping suspects, sixty-five armed robbery suspects, twenty-nine murder suspects, and forty-two suspected cultists. He further revealed that eighty-eight kidnapped victims were rescued, while one hundred and fourteen firearms, eight hundred and forty-three rounds of ammunition, and twenty-eight stolen vehicles were recovered through various operations across the country. The Inspector-General also directed Commissioners of Police nationwide to strengthen intelligence gathering, deepen community policing initiatives, and institutionalize regular stakeholder engagements with traditional rulers, religious leaders, youth groups, market associations, transport unions, and other critical community stakeholders. He stressed that public trust and community partnership remain indispensable to effective policing and crime prevention. Reaffirming the Force's commitment to professionalism and accountability, the IGP urged senior officers to lead by example, maintain discipline within their Commands, prioritize personnel welfare, and ensure strict compliance with established operational procedures. He further emphasized the importance of effective engagement with the media to enhance public understanding of policing activities and counter misinformation. The Nigeria Police Force remains committed to intelligence-led policing, strategic leadership, community partnership, and the protection of lives and property as it continues to strengthen internal security and public safety across the country. Over the last 12 years, India has witnessed many transformations and at the core of these changes is the welfare of the poor and downtrodden. We have always been inspired by Antyodaya and our effort has always been to ensure that the benefits of development reach those who were left behind for decades. From Jan Dhan accounts and Direct Benefit Transfer to Swachh Bharat, PM Awas Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat and more, every initiative has been driven by a simple objective of ensuring people have dignity and opportunity. #12YearsOfGaribKalyan

PRESS RELEASE DEFENCE HEADQUARTERS DEBUNKS FAKE VIDEO PURPORTING TO SHOW THE CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF The Defence Headquarters has observed the circulation of a fabricated video on social media platforms falsely portraying the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General OO Oluyede and in some instances attempting to misrepresent the person featured as the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General OO Oluyede. The Defence Headquarters categorically states that the video is false, misleading and does not represent any official communication, position, statement or engagement involving either the Chief of Defence Staff or the Chief of Army Staff. The content is a deliberate attempt to misinform the public and create confusion regarding the activities and leadership of the Armed Forces of Nigeria. Members of the public are advised to disregard the video in its entirety, as it did not originate from any official military source. Assessment of the video indicate that the content bears clear signs of digital manipulation premised on Artificial Intelligence and should not be relied upon in any way. The Defence Headquarters remains concerned about the growing trend of individuals exploiting digital technologies and social media platforms to fabricate content involving senior military officers. Such actions not only constitute misinformation but also have the potential to undermine public confidence and ultimately compromise national security efforts. The Defence Headquarters further urge social media influencers, bloggers, content creators and online commentators to desist from sharing, reposting, endorsing or amplifying unverified military-related content. The quest for online visibility and engagement must not come at the expense of truth, national security and responsible journalism. Media practitioners and members of the public are encouraged to verify information through the official Defence Headquarters communication channels before publication or dissemination. The Armed Forces of Nigeria remains focused on its constitutional responsibilities and will continue to work tirelessly to protect the sovereignty, peace and security of the nation. THIS IS YORUBALAND, land of PEACE where we don’t look for troubles but it if you look for our troubles, you will not survive it. Terror sponsors should tell their pikins to immediately free the Yoruba people they held in captivity in our forest and then, they should run away back to Sambisa! SAY NO TO TERRORISM

Peter Obi Lied: Nigeria's Debt Has Reduced Under President Tinubu. He Is Converting Dollar Loans To Naira To Manipulate The Public Peter Obi is displaying dishonesty today by misinforming the Nigerian public about our nation's total debt! He knows for a fact that Nigeria's debt has reduced under President Bola Tinubu. Nevertheless, he released a statement today, lying to Nigerians that our total debt has increased because of the financial profligacy of the Tinubu administration. Peter Obi is manipulatively quoting our national debt in Naira, even though these loans were taken in foreign currencies, especially the US Dollar. If, for example, Peter Obi's bank, F******* Bank, lent me $1,000 in 2023, which was equivalent to under ₦500,000, I do not owe you more money in 2026, even though the $1,000 is now worth ₦1,350,000. And you know that, Peter. You are just deceiving the public. I urge Nigerian citizens to Google, Grok, or ChatGPT the following query: Has Nigeria's debt increased under Tinubu in dollar terms? Yes, the US Dollar is not our legal tender. However, these loans were taken in Dollars and Euros. Peter Obi knows that the Naira was floated. Because of that, the Naira's value under President Buhari is different from the Naira's value today under His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria. So, to deceive his gullible followers, he keeps citing our debt in Naira, giving the impression that President Tinubu has increased it. For the avoidance of doubt, Nigeria's total debt when President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was sworn in on May 29, 2023, was $108.29 billion, as published by the Debt Management Office on Friday, March 31, 2023. However, by June 30, 2023, when the Debt Management Office published the updated debt figures for the Buhari administration, our total debt stood at $113 billion. The truth is that, yes, President Buhari left a total debt of ₦87.38 trillion behind when he handed over to President Bola Tinubu, but that ₦87.38 trillion was equivalent to $113 billion, which is less than our total debt today. Peter Obi, please stop being clever by half and be honest with yourself and the public. Reno Omokri Ambassador Designate to Mexico.
