GGDA GCEO Sthembiso Dlamini recently visited @CassavaTech following its R1.75 billion investment commitment in Gauteng. The investment will expand fibre networks, data centre capacity, cloud and cybersecurity infrastructure, and support the development of an AI Factory in South Africa. The GGDA hosted a strategic engagement with @MIT and the @CSIR at @GautengInvestSA, focused on strengthening the link between research, innovation, and economic development in @GautengProvince. The engagement reinforced the importance of building a coordinated, market-driven innovation ecosystem capable of translating ideas into firms, jobs, exports, and investment-ready projects. The Gauteng Growth and Development Agency (GGDA) successfully held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) today at the Gauteng Gambling Board.
