Doctors on Vancouver Island say they’re setting up unsanctioned overdose prevention sites on the grounds of Nanaimo General and Royal Jubilee hospitals this week because the B.C. government hasn’t lived up to its promise to set aside space for the sites.

Yesterday volunteers partnered with @mvtp_wcpc @collingwoodcpc5160 @theicbc and @transitpolicebc for a pedestrian safety pop-up at Commercial & Broadway station. Volunteers were handing out safety reflectors to pedestrians. A big thank you to all those who helped out. #icbc
