God they went 16-3. Oilers finals runs were full of struggles, Game 7s, grinding OT wins, adjusting and figuring out goalies and lines, massive adversity.
Didn't feel like much of a challenge. Definitely not a gauntlet for CAR this year.
So many injured and weaker teams.

What would it cost to turn Jarry into Markstrom? the only years of the last 5 Jarry has been better were 2021-22 and this year. 2022 they were both positive, per MoneyPuck JFresh.
Retain $1.3 to even out the cap hit? Allows you to drop a year of contract too, only 1 yr.

Moore isn't the slam dunk he was 2 years ago. That said, he'd still be a slam-dunk 2nd line winger on Oilers, lots left to give.
$4.2m x 3 is awesome value and he can be expected to eclipse 40 points every year.
Adds cup contending, CAR-type depth type depth. Always shows up vs EDM so we'd respect him.
He can't be your only winger addition, unless they really plan to bring Howard along. But that could surprisingly be a solid Top 6.

Holland would trade for Nurse in heartbeat for his weak D. Not moving Laferriรจre but you can bet GM would move G Kuemper. If Oilers could get Kuemper (1 yr left at $5.25m) to tag-team Jarry and winger Trevor Moore (2yrs at $4.2m) might that work? Toss in W Quinn Hutson to LA
