I think there is something I don't understand about Canada anymore. Let's say a Canadian makes $100K. They pay $35,000 in taxes. then take home $65,000. They go buy clothes, a car, or eat out, and pay another 15%. Now this broke Canadian has something left; he wants to save something, and then if he is lucky and makes some money, he will pay capital gains tax. Despite paying his all to the government, he is not allowed to give his opinion. He is not allowed to post his honest take on this country on social media. He is not allowed to defend himself if someone breaks onto his property. He is not allowed to decide what gender his child is. 😂 He is not even allowed to drink booze after all this because our liquor is most expensive in entire G-7.
