What a treat at the Noth Cave Wetlands. @NorthCaveWet Saw lots of interesting wildlife (goldfinches, blue tits, goosanders, mallards, geese, a heron, a black backed gull, wigeons, a water rat, a pheasant and those very cool black sheep to name but a few...very muddy but doable.

Hello @Dean_R_Lomax I’m sorry to be pestering you again, but you are our favourite fossil person 😀 I just found this in our drive (it is gravel) we have found quite a few gryphea and belamnites amongst the stones - this is confusing me! A fossil / present day shell? Many thanks!

Even the leaf-cutter ants are in the Christmas spirit! They carry these rice paper shapes to their fungus garden where it act as a fertiliser for their food source. We wonder whether these hard workers will take a short break over Christmas...probably not! #ChristmasAtTheAquarium
