When Bernie says that we need more working class candidates. I think of our newly elected folks like @denniston_jake, and @NicholasHazele1 in Kentucky and @Press4BC in Michigan who ran in nonpartisan elections with support from democratic infrastructure. They won.

My advice to democrats and left leaning independents is to treat folks with respect regardless of what signs they have in their yard.
Talk about the issues that matter and donât be afraid to engage with folks that disagree. Just showing up is half the battle for a lot of people.
