📢 Most people believe in equality – a fair shake for both men and women. They know neither gender has a monopoly on good or evil. They are fed up with men being demonised by our politicians and in our media. What they want is fair treatment for all - in our courts, in our laws, in government policies and practises. But that’s not happening…. That’s why we have set up The Arndt Army – to showcase Bettina Arndt’s work promoting gender equity through advocacy for men. Read about Bettina’s latest campaigns for justice. Find out how you can help create a fairer world for your sons, brothers, friends, partners - all the men you care about in your life.

I think, in many parts of the Western world, the time of politicians flat-out ignoring men’s and boys’ issues is over. And so begins a new era where politicians, particularly those on the left, bend over backwards, performing incredible mental gymnastics, to reconcile the emerging crisis of men and boys within their own narrow, dogmatic worldview. I am talking about the strange phenomenon of policies that claim to “help men and boys”, but only as far as it actually helps women and girls, and not a single step further. These are the academics, advocates and so-called “masculinity experts”, who spend all their time opining about “male violence”, and nothing else. And so - Any hope you have that politicians might take seriously the failure and abuse of boys in education, the chronic neglect of men’s health, or the betrayal of male victims, will have to wait. Instead, the ambition of these new ‘Ministers for Men’ is to primarily help women and girls through “healthy masculinities”, “male accountability” and the deprogramming of “toxic” male mindsets. So we are gifted with incredulous new job titles like ‘the Secretary for Men’s Behaviour Change’ in Australia. These are positions that wouldn’t look out of place next to George Orwell’s “Minister of Truth”, or within other political dystopias, except this one… is real. So what is to be said about this political halfway house that claims to address the problems of men and boys, but, when you look at the details, reveals something else - something that might be the exact opposite? After an accusation of wrongdoing and a late-night email from a school dean, Vaibhav Duggal died by suicide. Is the school responsible? Vaibhav’s story is one of the many examples of institutional overreach during disciplinary proceedings at universities across America - and exactly the same is happening in Australia. And men are almost always the ones being targeted. thefp.com/p/a-medical-studen…

A man wins a Human's Rights complaint. The complainant is a male student at the respondent university. He said the university withdrew an offer of a residential scholarship that required him to perform student service related duties following reports of sexual impropriety and inappropriate social media postings. The complainant claimed he was not told the details of the allegations against him or offered an opportunity to respond to the allegations. He alleged the university would have responded differently to the allegations if the accused was a female student. humanrights.gov.au/complaint…

Pauline Hanson is gaining popularity with women. These are mostly from women who are married with sons. Aussie women become anti-feminist when they have sons because they see how harshly they are treated. The majority of feminists in Australia are single women without kids.
