I get it, you hate 'the manosphere'. But pragmatically, what should boys do/go to instead? You've hardly created a positive, viable alternative for them; and sorry, these boys won't be dropping into male ally workshops, or their local feminist book clubs. So where do they go?
When does "a lot of time online" become too much? 🚩 When online spaces replace real-world connection, pay attention. For boys who feel disconnected, the #manosphere can feel like an answer. That's what makes it worth understanding. 🔗 Know the signs: unwo.men/Wrgg50Z8Vqk

While this is up for discussion, something you might not know about. 🧵 In Dec. 2025 a coroner at the inquest into the tragic death of a 6 month old baby was so horrified by his case that he issued a rare Prevention of Future Deaths notice to the Govt. judiciary.uk/prevention-of-f…
EXCL: The Green party is considering a new policy to ban circumcision, The Spectator can reveal. The party’s Health Policy Working Group (HPWG) has launched a consultation seeking views on whether parents should only be allowed to consent ‘to an irreversible surgical procedure on a child if that procedure is medically necessary’. Circumcision is an integral part of Judaism, with Jewish boys traditionally undergoing a ‘brit milah’ on the eighth day after birth. Interestingly, the consultation on outlawing the practice was publicised specifically in a ‘Greens for Palestine’ WhatsApp group.

If 94% of American jobs created by the Trump administration had gone to men, the world would lose its mind. We'd be hearing talk of "the patriarchy" and "male privilege" 24/7. Yet, the reality is the opposite, 94% of jobs created by Trump have gone to women, and I hear nothing?

While there are still so many women mocking men’s mental heath awareness, making DISGUSTING jokes about domestic violence against men being OK and how they wish the male suicide rate was even higher, it is amazing to see so many women speak up, fight back, and support men. Men need women, women need men, and when it comes to mental health, we ALL need each other.

The irony that you speak of 'accountability', and 'acknowledging perpetrators', whilst avoiding the fact that your own data in Aus shows that men are similarly likely to experience IPV (31%) as they are to perpetrate it (35%). Treat the issue, not the gender.
A care lens on men and violence prevention: Large numbers of men and boys have used violence against women and girls. A new report advocates for responses to the men and boys who use violence based in *compassionate accountability*.

Australia's 'National Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Agreement', lists 15 priority groups, and none of them are 'men'. Three quarters of Australian suicides are male, yet they're not even mentioned. Highly recommend @TheRealMenToo article on this open.substack.com/pub/bettin…

Although @HHSGov created an Office on Women’s Health back in 1991, there is still no equivalent for men. Women rightly have health issues that warrant dedicated focus, but so do men… from shorter life expectancy to higher rates of suicide and premature death. Why is there still no federal office for men’s health? renalandurologynews.com/news…

Women are winning the job market. “Of the 369,000 jobs the US Labor Dept says were created since last year, nearly all – 348,000 of them – went to women. Only 21,000 went to men. That means 94% of the net employment growth in the US went to women. Ninety four percent!” — @TheTinMenBlog

Be it due to automation, outsourcing, or AI; ‘the future of work’, and the unprecedented shifts in employment that come with it, are being urgently discussed around the world. Will we lose our jobs to robots? Will work be sent overseas? Will the blockchain and AI lead to a tidal wave of mass unemployment? Politicians, journalists, experts, and the general public, prod, poke and probe at these important issues. But one thing is missing… And that is how, as of 2025, this huge change in employment is having a disproportionately large impact on men...

In fact - Of all the jobs added to the American economy since the Trump Administration took over in 2025, 94% (!) of them have gone to women – particularly in healthcare professions. That’s nearly 17 times as many jobs filled by women as by men. It’s a statistic that should worry us all, which, unless we do something, will only continue to get worse.

As we know, job loss and unemployment have a huge impact on wellbeing, mental health, financial stability, and suicidality; particularly among men, and so the scale of this job loss could be utterly astronomical. So why are we not talking about it… How do we get more men into the women’s fields of medicine, teaching, psychology, care work, and others? What might such a campaign look like, and why have we not seen it already? I think, in many parts of the Western world, the time of politicians flat-out ignoring men’s and boys’ issues is over. And so begins a new era where politicians, particularly those on the left, bend over backwards, performing incredible mental gymnastics, to reconcile the emerging crisis of men and boys within their own narrow, dogmatic worldview. I am talking about the strange phenomenon of policies that claim to “help men and boys”, but only as far as it actually helps women and girls, and not a single step further. These are the academics, advocates and so-called “masculinity experts”, who spend all their time opining about “male violence”, and nothing else. And so - Any hope you have that politicians might take seriously the failure and abuse of boys in education, the chronic neglect of men’s health, or the betrayal of male victims, will have to wait. Instead, the ambition of these new ‘Ministers for Men’ is to primarily help women and girls through “healthy masculinities”, “male accountability” and the deprogramming of “toxic” male mindsets. So we are gifted with incredulous new job titles like ‘the Secretary for Men’s Behaviour Change’ in Australia. These are positions that wouldn’t look out of place next to George Orwell’s “Minister of Truth”, or within other political dystopias, except this one… is real. So what is to be said about this political halfway house that claims to address the problems of men and boys, but, when you look at the details, reveals something else - something that might be the exact opposite? What do you think? ~ Talking with Big Bros Podcast open.spotify.com/episode/6Y2…

This has the same vibe as that Tidal launch film. A bunch of self-aggrandising tone deaf celebs, pontificating over their own self-importance, to the result of absolutely nothing, besides a waste of money, and the self-immolation of half a dozen careers. Best of luck to them.

For the past six months I’ve been determined for TheTinMen to become more than a series of pissed off rectangles; to instead become an active community that finds, funds and promotes, real life, grassroots, frontline services, essential research and life-saving interventions for men and boys. Across all TheTinMen platforms, there’s more than 110,000 of us; and with that, comes opportunity. Step one was long term financial sustainability (which we’re soon approaching!) Step two is to explore becoming a UK registered charity, to further leverage funds through tax relief, and maximize donations. Step three, is to get on with it.
