Award-winning Somali referee Omar Artan was officially selected by FIFA to officiate at the 2026 World Cup, but he has reportedly been denied entry to the United States despite travelling on a diplomatic passport.
He landed in Miami and was then flown to Istanbul.

He gave PSG the ball back when we had possession after the keeper went down.
He’s said play on to multiple PSG fouls.
Then he said we have to go in for half time after giving a corner.

At £50 per game, you hit the £1,000 Trading Allowance after just 20 matches.
30 games = £1,500
50 games = £2,500
100 games = £5,000
Most active referees exceed the allowance every season.
