The "How did Carrie afford her lifestyle by writing a once weekly sex column" drives me insane because the entire series is based on the column by Candace Bushnell, and Carrie has her exact career path. It was a real woman's life! Who made a living writing about sex!

How are the women in sex and the city affording their lifestyles?? I don’t think Samantha has had a single client in her pr firm, Carrie writes a once weekly newspaper column, Charlotte just looks at fancy plates and paintings once a month, like Miranda is our only saving grace!!

I go back and forth on this I guess, but it also doesn’t escape me that they co-opted George Floyd and Breonna Taylor’s deaths and calls for abolition in order to get corporate promises that weren’t even going to be enforceable.
