The paint has dried, vinyl decals have been applied, and the gear has been safely transported. In short, the preparations of our new venue are coming along nicely and we are happy to announce the grand re-opening for CastleGames in Oberburg on the 10th of May 2025! Some things you can expect from the new venue: - Almost 100 square meters of usable space - Regular competitive events for fighting games like SF6, GGST and SSBU - Casual gaming and anime gatherings - Buy games and accessories for Nintendo Switch/Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 Additionally, we are expanding into Trading Card Games! That's right, starting in May you can both buy products for popular TCGs like Magic The Gathering, Pokémon TCG, the One Piece Card Game, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and participate in weekly events for these games. A detailed schedule for all the events of a given week will be posted regularly on our social media accounts, so be sure to follow us there! For now, mark the date, 10.05.25 starting at 11:00, and the new address, Emmentalstrasse 36 in 3414 Oberburg. Hello everyone! In 2019, I started my own company, Sajdiski’s Kingdom of Games, in Burgdorf (BE), where I have been organizing tournaments and weeklies for SSBU and different TCGs. Since January 2023, I moved my company to Stettlen (BE). In Stettlen, I continued with weeklies and even started holding monthlies. Colinmee decided to get involved as a TO back in Burgdorf and has been organizing weekly tournaments. Coconut and Noni assisted as co-TOs, while ShyluFox ensured that the stream was working. "During this entire period, Ajgün Sajdiski, the owner of Kingdom of Games, dedicated an enormous amount of time, space, and love to us, allowing many friendships to be formed that continue to this day. However, Ajgün has decided to stop hosting SSBU tournaments and focus more on TCG tournaments and his private life. We thank Ajgün from the bottom of our hearts for everything he has made possible and provided us during this time. We will greatly miss him as a person. Thank you, Ajgün!" - Noni As mentioned, KoG will no longer be holding Smash or weeklies. Instead, KoG will continue as a Trading Card Game (TCG) store in Köniz! This means the TGC community will still have a great space for card game enthusiasts to meet and play. What happens to the SSBU Community and Stettlen now? Stettlen stays! Together with Haris, the SSBU community will remain and has joined forces to take over and continue running the location. Smash weeklies will still take place at the Stettlen location, even after the transition! additionally, starting in October, tournaments for SF6, Tekken, GGST, and other FGC games will take place in the basement vault. Joule, Coconut, Noni, and Haris will take over the organization of the tournaments and events in Stettlen. They will rebrand the location and give Stettlen a new name and TO's for everything FGC related. Stay tuned for updates on how things will change in the coming week! Thanks for all of your support over the last few years. It was an amazing journey, which I will continue to hold dearly in my heart. While the KoG chapter will finish in Stettlen, a new door will open. I'm very happy and proud to give the power in the hands of new people. I hope all of you will be there to witness it!
