I have immense gratitude for @abrahamgeorge who built an incredible team, surrounding himself with talented, eager and knowledgeable individuals whose strengths complemented each other seamlessly. It was such a blessing to be able to serve the @TexasGOP, its delegates and its affiliates as the Org Director. Though my time at the Party was brief, it was filled with valuable opportunities and connections. I wish nothing but the best for the new leadership team, but have chosen to step out of the Org Director role. I look forward to continuing to work with the grassroots to defend Texas.

As thousands of Texas Republicans travel to Houston this week, let us pause and pray for God’s protection over every mile traveled. Heavenly Father, We ask for Your hand of protection over every delegate, alternate, volunteer, staff member, elected official, and guest making their way to convention. Grant them safe travels by road and by air. Keep them alert, patient, and free from harm. Bring everyone to their destination safely and reunite them with their loved ones when the week is complete. As we gather together, give us wisdom, humility, and unity of purpose. Help us conduct ourselves with grace, seek what is right, and work faithfully for the good of Texas. May this convention be marked by servant leadership, meaningful fellowship, and a renewed commitment to the principles we hold dear. With the radical left preparing for a Hail Mary attempt in November, Texans need to be sure they have the Republican leadership ready to defend the Second Amendment. Kyle and Chris only trust George/Hopper for Republican Party Chair and Vice Chair.

Consultants always tell you not to respond to your critics and normally I follow that advice.  But just today a new attack was levied against us that is simply untrue. You can read this latest attack on a new campaign website created by some of my opponent's strongest supporters.  The accusation made is that we have a "convention budget shortfall of approximately $651,086, with concerns that the number may continue to grow."  Here are some important facts.  When you factor in the party's current bank balances of our State, federal and corporate accounts, plus the registration money that has yet to be transferred and a small amount of outstanding sponsorships, we have around $100,000 of uncovered convention expenses, nowhere near the amount being stated.  When you factor in the registrations that will be paid over the next couple of days, that budget shortfall will not only be covered but we will turn a profit. This is how the math works every single convention, and I'm confident that all our bills will be covered and money will continue to be raised.  At the last convention we raised approximately $900,000 in direct convention sponsorships and fundraising. This year we currently have just over $1,300,000 and are continuing to raise more money every single day.  This race should remain focused on facts, and all sides must be honest with the delegates.

There was zero “Maga agenda,” whatever that means. The use of that term, @MayorOfLA, reveals your utter distrain, disrespect, and derision of the citizens of LA. @spencerpratt’s every comment and every plan was to solve the issues that have plagued LA for years, problems you refuse to attend to. Pratt is willing to sacrifice his privacy and time to actually solve these issues. You, on the other hand have for 4 years mocked or ignored our pleas to get the mentally ill off our streets, clear the encampments, fill the potholes and shave down the sharp road ridges, etc, etc. You are showing yourself to have no honor, no respect for LA, and no sense of responsibility. It’s shameful. Utterly shameful.

Today, the work began! The Temporary Platform, Legislative Priorities, and Rules Committees met to begin shaping the future of the Republican Party of Texas. What makes this process unique is that it doesn’t start in Austin. It doesn’t start with lobbyists. It doesn’t start with elected officials. It starts with the grassroots. The ideas being debated this week were first discussed in county conventions and local Republican organizations across Texas. Delegates from all 254 counties now have the opportunity to review those ideas, debate them, improve them, and determine which proposals should move forward as official Republican Party priorities. This is how our Party is built. From the precinct level to the county level, from the county level to the state convention, and from the state convention to the Texas Legislature. The conservative victories Texans celebrate today began as ideas from grassroots Republicans just like the men and women serving on these committees. Please join us in praying for these committee members as they undertake the important work of representing Republicans from every corner of our great state.

Tomorrow, Temporary Committee meetings begin for the 2026 Republican Party of Texas State Convention. These committees play a critical role in developing the platform, legislative priorities, rules, and recommendations that help shape the future direction of our Party and prepare Republicans for the 90th Texas Legislative Session.   We are grateful for every committee member who has volunteered their time to serve.
