We love building headless sites! But spent an hour today thinking that @storyblok was down. Turns out, they just aren't redirecting their Apex domain. Might be a good thing to fix

Absolutely delicious anecdote about Unicode mojibake "unintelligible sequence of characters" [via @davidacohen] unicodebook.readthedocs.io/d…
ALT 2004. An image of a post envelope with address written in krakozyabry (кракозя́бры) AKA Mojibake. The envelope contained a Harry Potter book. This letter was sent to a Russian student by her French friend, who manually wrote the address that she received by e-mail. Her e-mail client, unfortunately, was not set up correctly to display Cyrillic characters, so they were substituted with diacritic symbols from the Western charset (ISO-8859-1) The original message was in KOI8-R. The address was deciphered by the postal employees and delivered successfully. Some of the correct characters (red) were written above the wrong ones (black).

Another notch for @adamwathan's belt. Last August we built Verizon's 912.nyc site using @tailwindcss which just won a Gold Pencil at @TheOneClub! Top honours in digital marketing.

!important was added for one reason only: laws in the US that require certain text to be in a given font-size. !important stops the cascade from changing it.
Anything else is probably misuse, and a sign you may not understand the cascade properly.

A decade ago, @ThinkfloCodes was tasked with building the first #BlackBerry AppStore Marketplace. So it's bittersweet that today is the last day of support for these legendary devices. Happy that we were a small part of their story but also sad to see them go.

Here's how I recently solved targeting touch devices using @TailwindCSS when needing an exception for hover states.
Create custom raw screens for touch using the pointer CSS media query, you can now specifically target touch or mouse devices
