Nkosephayo Manyatsi is the young farmer in Eswatini who features on the cover of our latest publication.
She met @FAODG Qu Dongyu and @FAOAfricaADG@AbebeHGabriel recently during a farm visit.
Her work with her partners to transform agrifood systems is inspiring! ππΏππΏππΏ
Two weeks ago, @FAOAfrica released the "FAO in Africa: Highlights in 2022" report.
It was a pleasure meeting in person last week in Eswatini the 27-year-old farmer and trained food scientist Nkosephayo Manyatsi, who was featured on the cover page of our report.
The young #FoodHeroes I met today proved, once again, that youth are agents of change. Investing in, supporting & including them in decision-making is not optional. It is a must if we want to ensure better production, better nutrition, a better environment & better life for all.
I am humbled to part of @GYBN_CBD delegates attending COP15 in Canada π¨π¦. Will be attending a number of Food Systems side events and if you around we can connect.
