I was listening to a podcast about industries that could clean up but don't because legislation allows them to get away with it and so the problem is passed to others. We need the UK Government to actually mean what it says and force these industries towards green solutions

Absolutely shocking state of verges covered in #litter along the #A14 today. It was particularly bad around #Kettering and #Welford but continued up to and on the M6. Plastic seemed to grow on trees and the litter went on for tens of miles. How can this be fixed @HighwaysEngland?

We got fed up with waiting for Euro Car Parks and @Poundland in #Tonbridge to tidy the gross mess in their car park so decided to tackle it ourselves. Not perfectly sparkling but an improvement at least! It's not our litter but it is our planet! #Do1Thing #EuroCarParks

Here's an idea @KeepBritainTidy who could we petition to start a labelling system that instantly tells consumers whether the complete package is compostable, 100% #recyclable etc? I'm thinking #redtractor but for packaging

Last #2minutebeachclean of holidays this morning & found huge deadly #ghostnet - had to cut 25 dead catshark & 2 smoothhounds out - luckily net wasn’t covered in sand so were able to drag it off the beach & will recycle it with the help of @SeaTrustWales
