This is the 112th meeting between the two teams and we are fortunate to have former head coaches Bob Bancroft and Mike Driscoll attending to help us celebrate Abington's coach Jim Kelliher retiring after 50 years. This season we implemented a competition period each day in practice (GRIT Period). Today our seniors got one final GRIT Period and could pick their competitor. Senior captain Owen Brown chose his brother, freshman Osten, in a very cool passing-of-the-torch moment.

This is Panther football. On the last play of the half Cam Beltramini chases down the opposing ball carrier from the backside of the field to prevent what looks to be a sure touchdown. Cam lives our core values every day and it shows with how he and his teammates play the game.

WH football snaps scoreless tie to take a 6-0 lead on Medfield with 520 left to play - Cam Beltramini with the TD run. He adds another one of about 43 yards. WH leads 14-0 as senior captain Owen Brown carries it for 2 point conversion

Whitman-Hanson (3-5) falls to Marshfield 44-15. The Panthers could not capitalize on their halftime lead in this Patriot League battle. Johnny Walker and Cam Beltramini led the way for the Panthers on both sides of the ball. They combined for 160 yards on the ground, with Walker finding the end zone once. Defensively, Walker had 14 tackles and Beltramini added a spectacular interception. Ryan Nash connected with Brendan Moore for a 19 yard touchdown and Tim Brown blocked a punt for a safety.  The Panthers conclude their regular season at 3-5.
