At $0.79 per MWh (3/4 of a cent per kWh), yesterday was the cheapest daily average price for electricity in Alberta's power market history. By a wide margin! (And these are nominal prices, unadjusted for inflation...)

When we @pembina proposed a coal phase out in Alberta in 2009 all we were told was why it couldnโ€™t be done. Our biggest mistake was saying it would take longer than it did.
