This picture is so Heart Touching, The little Dog, a Young Doberman is pregnant. The Fire fighter just saved her from a fire that broke out of in her home, saved her by pulling her out of the house into the Garden, and then continued in the fight against the fire. When he finally put out the fire, he sat down to take a breath and rest. A photographer from the North Carolina News Newspaper noticed the Dog in the distance looking at the Fire fighter. He saw the Doberman walk straight into the Fire fighter and wondered what he was going to do, so he picked up his Camera. The animal came up to the tired man who had just saved his life and the lives of his babies. Yesterday, during my father's funeral procession, led by the United States Marine Corps, my family noticed the man in this photograph standing at the side of the road. He held his hat in his hand and placed his hand on his heart as a sign of respect for my father and our family as we walked by. His respectful gesture deeply touched my family and the entire train. Along the way, we encountered many other cars simply going about their day. Since his license plate was visible in the photo, my daughter did some research and we found him!!! His name is Ernest Boerlin and he is also a veteran of the United States Navy. When I sent him a private message to thank him for honoring my father, he replied: "It was an honor to show my respect for a comrade and his family." Please accept my prayers and condolences for you and your family in your loss. Fair winds and calm seas. God bless you. Thank you, Ernest. Your gesture of kindness and respect deeply touched our family and friends, and we are grateful for it. May God bless you and your loved ones. His second tour, he was a part of the 82nd Airborne where he led his Paratrooper. He recently passed last year September. 🕊️ My grandfather was amongst very few men who was able to make it back home alive to tell their stories. US Army Green Beret Staff Sergeant Michael Simpson was killed in action in 2013. While conducting combat operations in Ghazni Province, Afghanistan, he was critically wounded by an improvised explosive device (IED) and passed away at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany.
