Agree. Be a long term business owner!
Charlie Munger: "I'm no good at exits. I don't like even looking for exits. I'm looking for holds." "Think of the pleasure I've gotten from watching Costco march ahead. Such an utter meritocracy and it does so well. Why would I trade that experience for a series of transactions? It's a much less satisfactory life than rooting for people I like and admire." "I say find Costcos — not good exits."

The Japanese are so cool.
Japanese fans staying behind in the stadium to clean their sector after the 2-2 draw against the Netherlands in Dallas. This is a Japanese tradition has gone viral at numerous previous World Cups. 🇺🇸🇯🇵

The article is totally false btw. You can add up every government incentive my companies have ever received and they amount to less than 2% of the value of SpaceX and Tesla! And many of these incentives actually helped our competitors disproportionately to Tesla or SpaceX. For example, when President Trump removed the $7500 tax credit for electric vehicles, Tesla sales actually INCREASED, because more buyers shifted from other EV makers to Tesla.

Today, I’m releasing never before seen intelligence revealing new evidence of past US government funding for more than 120 biolabs in over 30 countries, including Ukraine. In support of President Trump‘s Executive Order to end federal funding of dangerous gain of function research around the world, and increase transparency and accountability, ODNI will continue working with partners across the Administration to identify where these labs are, what pathogens they contain, and what “research” is being conducted. odni.gov/index.php/newsroom/…

Almost 0 women work 60 hours a week which is required to be in this list. Women’s IQ is not as variable as men’s and is centered around the mean. Which means the 140 IQ required to be in this list is 47:1 men. Women focus on people. Men focus on things. As a result a woman doing her job can affect a few dozen people an hour. A man focusing on things can build something that benefits a billion people an hour. Of course this will offend leftists and feminists but it is none the less true and explains exactly why there are 0 and everything that powers civilization was invented, brought to market and made successful by men and that won’t change any time soon if ever.
Where are the Women?

.@BernieSanders , it is a time to celebrate. @elonmusk has created enormous value for society by building @SpaceX, driving down the cost of rocket launches and creating a global satellite communication network that has brought high speed, low-cost internet and communication access to hundreds of millions and eventually billions of people along with critical advantages for our military and our nation’s defense. SpaceX and its technologies will cause an acceleration in the growth of wages and wealth creation globally, including in some of the poorest communities in the U.S. and around the world. Access to low-cost, high speed communications everywhere will allow children around the world to be educated, families to build businesses, and life-saving medical knowledge and care to be available everywhere. SpaceX will materially bring down the cost of compute, advancing AI and humanity. Meanwhile, 4,000 SpaceX employees yesterday became millionaires, including hourly wage employees who you claim you are trying to help. The Elon Musks of the world drive growth, global GDP, and provide access to goods and services at lower cost that would otherwise not exist. Elon’s nominal trillionaire status is due to his ownership of SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink, the Boring Company and his other initiatives that have brought new technologies that improve our everyday lives. Elon is not sitting on a trillion dollar pile of cash, jewelry and gold. He is using his controlling stakes in his companies to advance mankind. Elon’s companies don’t pay dividends. They reinvest all of their capital to accelerate innovation and value creation. Elon is working 24/7 for all of us. He deserves respect and appreciation, not smears. Bernie, your socialism would never allow a SpaceX to be built. Socialism has only proven to impoverish mankind and lead to death and destruction. We need to create the conditions for more SpaceXs to be built, not attack the great entrepreneurs who are helping to advance our country.

Why hasn’t your wife donated all of her family wealth? You can live a nice life off of the bond yield of 5 million. Why not show leadership and divest yourselves of the “vulgar wealth” you have access to?

Value investing is dead if you define it as buying statistically cheap stocks. Algorithms will arbitrage that away. Value investing is a philosophy: analyzing stocks as businesses, asking for a margin of safety, having a long-term time horizon. What I just described isn't really "value investing." It's just investing. And common sense is not dead.

Ron Baron just dropped the exact secret that has kept his $40 billion fund insanely profitable for 40 years straight "most traders stare at spreadsheets trying to predict a 5% earnings beat next quarter - we throw away the short-term models, we only care if the founder is absolutely obsessed" "the crowd buys 20 random stocks because some analyst upgraded them on tv - we will spend 3 years studying a single ceo and their factory floor before we invest a single dollar" "average investors try to guess where the economy is going next month - we find one generational genius, give them $1 billion, and completely get out of their way for 15 years" Baron didn't make his money by timing the market or using complex trading algorithms. he made it by finding the smartest, most ruthless founders on earth and riding their coattails for decades. watch his full keynote where he breaks down this exact strategy
Ron Baron believes that trading for a quick 20% gain is the fastest way to stay broke "most guys buy bonds or keep cash just to feel safe making 4% - we have never owned a single bond because paper currency is designed to lose its value every day" "the crowd buys a stock with a 3-month plan and panics at a 10% drop - our minimum holding period is 10 years, because that is how you turn a million into a billion" "regular traders obsess over next week's chart patterns - we only care if the founder has the drive to double the size of the business every 5 years" Baron didn't build a $40 billion fund by guessing the next trend. he built it by finding generational monopolies, backing great founders, and doing absolutely nothing for decades watch him break down his exact investment strategy

Deaths in the US so far in 2026, by cause: Drowning: approximately 1000 (22 kids in Texas alone) Mushroom poisoning: 4 Rattlesnake: 3 Lightning: 2 Marathon: 1 Measles: 0 And, oh yeah, overdose: approximately 30000 Let's try to scare people some MORE about measles, huh?
Fun fact: NOT ONE PERSON IN THE US HAS DIED OF MEASLES IN 2026. Not one. We've had a total of 127 measles hospitalizations this year - 0.001% of all hospital stays. And the outbreaks peaked FIVE MONTHS AGO. I favor measles vaccination. But can the media please drop the drama?
