we’re all here for the money. the only difference is that everyone’s way of extracting value keeps evolving. truth is, a lot of teams don’t care about users in the way people think they do. they care because users help them achieve whatever outcome they’re optimizing for, whether that’s attention, liquidity, volume, growth, or revenue. i tweeted last month that i don’t believe in any project except its solution. because narratives fade, communities rotate, and teams come and go. the solution is the only thing that has to keep proving itself. tbh when teams deploy huge amounts of capital, it’s rarely because they’re feeling generous. they do it because they expect an even bigger return. which is not necessarily evil but business. the mistake is just pretending like they really care about us!
I'm honestly a bit tired of people looking down on users because they’re here for the money. Yeah, I mean… obviously they are. And so are the teams and investors. They might use heroic-sounding words, but when you really break it down and look behind it, money is obviously the primary motivation for all of them. So please, let's stop the hypocrisy

it’s that time of the week again where we come together to exchange ideas and perspectives around web3 today’s conversation is about what being a creator actually means. the creator economy has grown massively over the years, and today more people than ever identify as creators. but what does being a creator truly mean? is it about posting consistently, building an audience, sharing ideas, and influencing conversations? or is it about creating value that leaves a lasting impact? tonight, we’ll be exploring different perspectives around creation, value, influence, and what it really means to be a creator in today’s digital landscape. as always, this will be an open and interactive conversation, and we’d love to hear your thoughts as well. my bro @Babzi_web3 will be co-hosting this time as usual. twitter.com/i/spaces/1MJgNNo… kindly set your reminders

It started with earning. Now it’s becoming something much bigger. Builders are shipping. Creators are earning. Founders are building. On August 8, the people shaping the next chapter of the internet come together in Uyo 🇳🇬 Solana Summit @SuperteamNG 2026 ➛ AUGUST 8, 2026 ➛ Ibom Hotels & Golf Resort ➛ Uyo, Akwa Ibom From Earn to Internet Capital Markets. If you're paying attention to where crypto is actually heading, this is one of those rooms you don’t want to miss.

you’d be surprised how some top KOLs create agencies just to cover their own weaknesses. with enough branding and the right narrative, it’s packaged as “giving back to the community” when in reality creators end up doing most of the heavy lifting. what i don’t understand is why creators trying to build their social presence are expected to become discord trenchers. you get tied to engaging the founders’ content all day, promised a monthly payout, and somehow that’s meant to help your growth. but shouldn’t your value as a creator come from your ability to create? your writing, distribution, influence, ideas. not from farming engagement in a discord server. a lot of creators need to wake up. if the main thing you’re developing is your ability to engage someone else’s content, you’re building their leverage, not yours. until you realize this space is dog eat dog, you’ll keep mistaking dependency for opportunity.
