Before you start your weekend with whatever sports you’ll watch today (NBA Finals, World Cup, College World Series), allow me to state my plea to you. On Sunday June 7th, tragedy befell my family as my nephew Connor passed, way before he ever should. I am a Disabled Veteran, with a fixed income and my responsibilities usually bite a large part of said money. What I’m asking to contribute is twofold. Travel costs and raising money beyond that to help my brother and his family help resolve any final costs/responsibilities Connor had. I’m not gonna ask people for large amounts because I know the world and costs are eating us all up. To me, $5 or $10 is as impactful as $50 or $100 or more, because it builds up. To the Aggie, Longhorn, Red Raider, and Sooner fans that have helped and given so far, thank you. Know your money will do what I’m asking to put it forward to.
