Our gov is signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the French gov next to tie Ireland into the purchase of military hardware from France & create a defence partnership.
This reduces procurement competition & will cost the tax payer money. It may threaten out neutrality.

They are projected to account for 30% of national electricity demand by 2030, and roughly 97% are clustered in the Greater Dublin Area. After handing away Irish sovereignty this week with the EU Migration Pact, the government now seeks to get rid of the Triple Lock and push us into an EU Defence Union.
