Okay, I think I got the bitterness out this morning and I'm going to do something productive. Like quit this site, move this over to bluesky and just use social media less in general. It might happen in fits and starts but this place truly ain't it.

Minneapolis City Council PHS Committee voting today to request a report on municipal grocery stores: mapping food deserts, data on food insecurity, overview of municipally-owned retail including liquor and grocery stores, co-ops and non-profits.

Voters approved moving city elections to even years.

There’s a point here that I hadn’t considered. Question 2 just neglected school board. So the least turnout-ie races were just left to founder in the wilderness. Vote No yall.

Hey St Paul peeps, scroll to see Ellen Brown's letter urging voters to Vote No on Question 2 to move city elections to presidential years. Holding RCV elections in even years has not been permissible without statutory rules for how these elections would be conducted. The RCV Local Options bill would provide these standards, but the measure hasn't yet passed. So for now, @FairVoteMN is urging voters to vote no on the question.
