Hey friends, have some personal news. First, the good news: As of today, 18 months sober. The bad news: In February I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. There is a small spread but I am responding well to hormonal therapy. And began my 6 weeks of radiation Monday. Fuck Cancer.

Stuff I’ve heard … you can’t see the smoke stacks ,the area isn’t toxic ,it’s 20 minutes from south loop ,The ownership has too move and It’s all the states fault,The bears only team without their own stadium over 100 years,the team will keep name ( lawsuits coming ) ,there is a 75 mile rule ( lawsuits coming ) No there isn’t. And Chicago cant have another team ( don’t bet on that ) . Bears have a billionaire owner in their group .who will be the 1st to tell bear fans that besides me .@LouCanellis @JeffAgrest @nflnetwork or someone else oh and for the casual businessman Ryan has no power so the Ryan group has to go with group .He wants more stock but guess who doesn’t want him to cause they’d have the money to stay .

Stacey (Sky) King was a great announcer. He and I talked when he was a CBA coach, in Rockford, for about an hour. I told him that if coaching wasn’t his thing, he should join me and Red on tv. Once he did, he never looked back. Huge loss for the team.

.@StaceyKing passed away suddenly yesterday. He was a 3X @NBA champ with the @chicagobulls and later became a world-class broadcaster of Bulls games.
Stacey was an entertainer & a super fan. But he also was a truthteller who really knew the game.
Chicago will miss him!

As a kid we’d watch the road games, as the local games weren’t on tv very often. I’d listen to Brick and Kup and they’d lose. But Sayers and Butkus were amazing. You told me what a great friend he was, and that means more than anything else.

Happy birthday to the greatest open field runner who ever lived. A great guy who I watched play as a grade school kid and then years later he said he loved me cause I shot straight and we worked together and Be-Be and I became close friends with Artie his wife and Gale . @ChicagoBears @kicker34 🎂 he’d be 83 today
