There’s no understating just how horrible these policies are. New Yorkers ought to reject DSA candidates whenever they can.
The @DemSocialists just rebooted its platform. The group's governing committee adopted it, and they're explicit that elected officials should start aligning with its proclamations. Here's what it says:
Abolish the U.S. Senate. Abolish the Electoral College. Replace the President and the Supreme Court with an executive and judiciary "subordinate to Congress." Draft a new constitution.
Abolish police and prisons.
Defund the Department of War, close overseas bases, and end all economic sanctions, including those on Iran, Cuba, and Russia.
Universal amnesty for illegal immigrants, public ownership of the largest corporations, legalize polygamy.
Will be fascinating to see which planks of platform figures like @ZohranKMamdani @tiffany_caban @JuliaCarmel__ @claireforny @RashidaTlaib and @JabariBrisport publicly endorse.

I like the Freedom Caucus, but attaching the SAVE Act to warrantless spying is dumb. Why would we let the government spy on us in exchange for anything?
After we trade the Fourth Amendment for parliamentary advantage, what shall we trade the First and Second Amendments for?
Republicans should absolutely attach the SAVE America Act to FISA.
We have limited opportunities left to secure our elections — let's not waste them!
