Meanwhile at Secaucus Junction, @NJTRANSIT commuters are climbing around barriers after Train 6647 missed the platform by 2 cars.
I think we were pretty close to just skipping the station all together.

Train from Penn to Dover is over 30 minutes delayed at this point. Given the communication that World Cup passage was so smooth, the organization should consider refunding passengers and commuters who continuously have to deal with a subpar service on a regular basis.

Our NJ Transit Customer Advocate MUST BE REPLACED with an independent advocate.
Franck Beaumin (NJ Transit Customer Advocate) does not fight for riders.
He REFUSES to install signs at stations and vehicles advertising his position.
He should be fighting and speaking up for us, and he does NOT SPEAK UP FOR US.
Furthermore, he is very close to the NJ Transit bureaucracy and needs to be replaced.
His lack of independence is a MAJOR PROBLEM, and we need independence in this position.

Canadian journo here.
Jamais vu un accès au stade aussi mal géré qu’autour du MetLife Stadium, présentement, pour le match Maroc-Brésil. Les bouchons s’étendent sur des km et des km. Aucun stationnement pour les 82 000 spectateurs. Impossible de se rendre au stade à pied. Le train est 98$US 🤯

The legislation has been written up.
Our current NJ Transit Customer Advocate always brushes us off when we demand reform.
He only speaks up for the corrupt NJ Transit bureaucracy.

After being told by @NJTransit_CA that further hearings would be “redundant” as my fares increase, service reliability decreases, and 🦗🦗🦗 from the board and @NJTRANSIT “leadership,” I’m finding it difficult to disagree.

The customer advocate "thinks" what @NJTRANSIT tell him. The whole enterprise is another line of waste in the agency's budget and yet another testament to its utter rot. To expect him to do anything besides cheering for them is to set oneself to disillusionment.
