ALT The research involves integrating, combining, and analyzing information from diverse sources including interoperable and dynamic services (e.g., Copernicus, EMODnet), data from national and local authorities, and inputs from social networks and crowdsourcing initiatives (e.g., OpenStreetMap). This aims to improve understanding of vulnerability and risk profiles in both environmental and socio-economic systems, influenced by endogenous factors (e.g., anthropogenic activities) and exogenous factors (e.g., climate change) specific to marine and coastal contexts. The research activity will also focus on gradually improving programming skills to support the development of Decision Support Tools (e.g. Cumulative Effects Assessment). These improved analysis methods and tools will be applied in national and international settings, supporting projects such as HORIZON MSP4BIO, H2020 BRIDGE-BS, EMFAF-ReMAP, PNRR-NBFC-MSP4BIODIVERSITY, and HORIZON CROSSGOV.
