I came across a news report where Thiagarajan sir mentioned that Madam
#Jayalalithaa had once invited Top Star
#Prashanth to enter politics. However, Prashanth declined, saying he had no interest in politics and wanted to focus only on films. Honestly, I feel Prashanth might have done really well in politics. At one point, his films were so popular that I would go for FDFS without fail. He was at his peak back then. But after London, his success seemed to decline, and then Ponnar Shankar turned out to be a major setback that affected his career significantly. I wouldn't blame Thiagarajan sir's direction entirely, but the choice of stories definitely played a big role. Even recently, I was genuinely excited when Andhagan released and felt really happy seeing him back on the big screen. And GOAT was on another level. I really hope to see more of him on screen again, the same charming chocolate boy we grew up watching.
