Quoting this because this still doesn’t explain what many creators are seeing. If Discovery now favors originality, engagement, attraction, satisfaction, and not just CCU, that’s fine. But how do you explain maps spending 24 hours in Sponsored, getting 18K plays, strong retention, decent session length, healthy engagement… and still not triggering a single genre row? Not one. Meanwhile, the same top 6 maps in every rows barely move for days, even when other islands are clearly outperforming them. That doesn’t feel like normal ranking changes,it feels like something is not updating correctly. Also, the documentation linked is still based on the previous Discovery system and older metrics, so creators still don’t have real clarity on how the current genre rows actually work. Please have the team look specifically at row triggering and row refresh behavior, because right now this looks like a real issue. fortnite.gg/island/2678-5257…

Hey Miguel, Following last week’s updates, Discover now favors original islands that keep players engaged. CCU is one signal we look at, but we also consider Attraction, Engagement, Satisfaction, Originality and other key metrics to determine what players will enjoy. That means you should expect to see changes in how rows update, which islands are shown, and for how long. The “New” and “Updated” rows will continue to be dedicated spaces for testing new and relevant games to players in Discover.
